TotalSecurity is not what the name suggests, but rather a fraudulent security software that just steals peoples money. TotalSecurity is a misleading application that reports false scan alerts. Once a user downloads and runs a scan, it falsely reports errors on the computer. The program than tries to fool the user in purchasing the full license to remove the false errors.

Hey Frank,
Total Security has two versions, if not more! One version is pretty easy to remove but another version disables Malwarebytes and all other security apps.
Users need to open their Programs Folder, Locate the Malwarebytes Anti-Malware folder, open that and click on the mbam icon or mbamgui and right click, rename it to xxxx then double click it in the folder to run it, takes afew seconds longer but does work…..I played with this one earlier LOL
If users cannot download MBAM, reboot into Safe Mode with Networking, download the file, right click mbam-setup and rename it xxxx then run it :)
Colin,
You are correct on the versions and thanks for adding more information!
