Immunet Protect is a free AntiVirus solution that leverages intelligence from a global community to protect everyone else from virus threats and malware in real time. It’s more than a localized solution, it is global community collaboration (digitally). What does this mean? You can now leverage the computers of your friends, family and a worldwide global community to harness their collective security.
A solution that acts like a think tank globally can help all of us. I am not saying to remove your local Antivirus software, but what I am suggesting is that you no longer have to rely on the isolated security of your current AntiVirus vendor.
Immunet Protect gathers information daily and builds it strength as the community grows. If you believe in the more the merry, than you need to be part of this global community.
Immunet Protect is FREE and it can run along side your current AntiVirus Software.
Systems Supported
Microsoft Windows XP SP2
Microsoft Windows Vista SP1
Windows 7 (RTM): Supports 32-bit platforms only at this time.
It sounds like socially networked Internet security, and it is perfect. Who knows how many times someone stumbled upon a virus before McAfee or one of the big agents got it into their system for updates.
Kristi,
You nailed it! That’s exactly how I read it. I also installed Immunet the other night and so far, it looks like a real winner.
This is really cool but how I wish it can support more systems like Windows Seven.
Andrew,
I am sure they will release the 64 bit version.
They have now released the 64 bit version.
Ben,
Thank you for the update. I am sure many Windows 7 users will be delighted.
That is exciting. I think the system is centralized. “Collective Security” –what does it actual mean for it’s user? Will it be networked among groups? I feel this is not exactly an anti virus software, rather it is a supplementary tool for existing anti virus in the system. Does it include all features same as an anti virus? We should give it a thought once applied personally only. But such concept is itself commendable.
