I am noticing PageRank changes on internal pages only and not the main page. It has been a long time since the last major toolbar update (April 3). This is just another minor update that started last night around 6:00 PM CT. This update reflects changes on internal pages and not the main page (Homepage).Google Minor Update September

In this minor update, you may notice that any new domains that were listed as N/A have changed from N/A to something higher. Any website that had a Pagerank higher than N/A, will not change in this minor update.

Google has been going through a lot of changes that will certainly improve search and because of all these new changes, Google has been a little tardy on the next major Pagerank update. The next major Pagerank update will be the first since the launch of Caffeine.

Don’t get too crazy or even upset over Pagerank, because the only thing that matters most is SERPs (Search Engine Results Page) and not PR. If you are ranking high for keyword terms, this is where most of your traffic from Google is coming from and not PR.

What’s Google PageRank?
Google interprets a link from page A to page B as a vote, by page A, for page B. Google looks at more than just the volume of votes, or links a page receives; it also analyzes the page that casts the vote. Votes cast by pages that are themselves “important” weigh more heavily and help to make other pages “important”.
