jimi_hendrixActivision has announced that Hendrix and Queen will soon be available in two new downloadable track packs for the game. Hendrix fans will now be able to jam along to “Freedom,” “Angel,” and the live Woodstock version of “Foxy Lady” from March 19. Additionally, Wii owners who were wondering where the first Hendrix track pack of “If 6 was 9,” “Little Wing,” and “Fire” had got to, will also be able to download them as singles in March.

Queen fans will also be in for a treat with a new three song track pack containing “We Are the Champions,” “Fat Bottomed Girls,” and slightly disappointingly “C-lebrity” from the 2008 album The Cosmos Rocks with Paul Rodgers.

Activision also announced that two brand new European track packs will be available for download in March. The first features “Break it Out” by Italian pop punk band Vanilla Sky, “In the Shadows” by The Rasmus, and “C’est Comme Ca” from French duo Les Rita Mitsouko. The second track pack will include “What Have You Done” from Within Temptation, “Hier Kommt Alex” from Die Toten Hosen and “Carolina” from Spanish outfit M-Clan. Additionally a brand new recording of the James Bond theme will be made available.

The Hendrix and Queen Track packs with be available for 440 Microsoft points on Live, and for £3.99 ($5.60) on PSN. Wii owners will have to fork out 200 points each for the Hendrix tracks.
