In less than 5 days, Facebook, the popular social network is offering a new Timeline format for its users. If you’re unsure what to do, you can read the Timeline guide to get you started before the change is made by Facebook.
This guide explains the changes in detail and it will help you make sure that your existing Fan Pages will be ready for the changeover on March 31st. To view the PDF, you will need Adobe Reader which you can download here for free.
Once you have Adobe Reader installed, you can now download the Facebook Timeline for Pages Guide.
This guide is free and it will help save you time and hassle.

As a FB users i preferred to used the old one, but of course sites evolves for the better.
It’s so weird that they have made timeline compulsory for everyone. Facebook should have listened to the reviews of people, and must not have made it mandatory. Timeline is simply a headache.
Khawar,
I am not a fan of the new look and it almost reminds me of MySpace back in the day.
I know about the timeline but i dont know how to get it. I tried following the steps on the facebook help page. But it says to click on the green “get it now” button. The green button only appears when you arent logged in. So i logged out and i saw the button and clicked it. Once i did that, of course it had to say, “log in to continue”. So therefore i logged in. Not to my surprize, NOTHING happened. no timeline either! im getting so frustrated! Can you please HELP!!!
Heather,
By now you must have the timeline as Facebook made the change to all accounts.
Facebook did *not* make the change to all accounts. The announced March 31st date was just for *pages*, not personal profiles. Many online writers and bloggers took that to mean all accounts, but it was *only* for pages, not profiles.
Like Heather, I want Timeline but can’t get it. No green button is visible. I’ve searched all over, Heather, and there are many people with this issue and no answer to it. I guess we just have to wait until FB offers it to us. It seems to mostly affect new accounts.
Lets face it, everybody always hates facebooks updates. However they eventually grow on you and you ponder how you lived without it. Facebook knows us better then we do ourself!
I don’t really see the point of changes on fb
I think the facebook changes will help optimize the site for the upcoming IPO. The timeline isn’t that bad if you go in and change the settings. Try to use it to you advantage!
Nice Nice! I liked! :D Very good point about Facebook, this time line format it’s very nice! :D
I must be one of the last remaining few with the old facebook still…good. I really don’t like the Timeline.
Olya,
I am not a fan yet, but in time I am sure it will be some thing that I like. It’s just different than what we are use to.
I don’t like the new timeline… Can we go back to the old one ?
Unfortunately, I see no option to revert back to the old version. Anyone else?
I’m not a facebook user but in my own insight of the new timeline it is nice because you can put everything you want to make your FB look pleasant in the eyes.
The old version was much better, I do not like the time line as it sometime add to confusion. The presentation is also chaotic, how can I get back to the original view.
Most of my friends didn’t like this feature, but I really like time line in Facebook especially the cover photo.
Please please please CHange be back to my old foremat! The new one is literally driving me CRAZY!!! yuk!
