There are probably many people shopping for laptop deals during the holiday, but getting the best deal might not come with all the bells and whistles that you may need to be more productive. It’s important to know exactly what you are going to use the laptop for.
If you’re a casual user and you only need a laptop for browsing, email and writing, than you don’t need to go out and get the top of the line laptop. If you are a gamer, you will need a powerful processor and video card in order to get the best gaming experience from your laptop.

Dell sucks. they use inferior parts.
I agree, Dell is way behind, especially in after sale service. I’m 2 years out and still trying to get the WiFi operating properly even after 20+ calls and 2 trips to the service center.
I think that 2010 was the year for buying netbooks. A lot of netbooks have appeared and some with very good performances.

I agree Dell sucks inferiors parts on their screen hinges and keyboard. That’s why I am shopping for new laptop my Inspiron 1525 is falling apart from daily use everyday I see a new part broken. Dell support just want to sell u their extended warranty. I have own Dell before but the laptop is the worse computer I have owned. They are no longer customer friendly
