Pearl Jam TenPearl Jam gets ready for “Rock Band” on March 24, the same date its 1991 debut album, “Ten,” will be reissued in expanded form. The entire album will be available for download through “Rock Band”; the “Ten” track “Alive was previously released on the “Rock Band 2” game disc.

Seattle grunge band’s complete debut album will be offered on the video game “Rock Band 2.” The game, which involves a guitar, bass, drum and microphone set, enables you to live out your rock-star dreams.

A single track from “Ten” — “Alive” — is already available on “Rock Band 2,” but starting March 24, 2009, the complete 1991 debut album will be on sale. “Ten” peaked at No. 2 on the Billboard 200 chart and sold more than 12 million copies, becoming a ’90s rock staple.

You can get more than 500 “Rock Band” tracks via download or disc purchase; the Rock Band online music store recently surpassed 30 million paid downloads (www.rockband.com/dlc).

“Ten” itself will also be reissued on March 24, as four different expanded editions. It is part of a two-year catalog re-release for the band’s 20th anniversary in 2011. Head to Pearl Jam’s Web site (www.pearljam.com) for more on the band.
