ThreatNuker is a misleading application that may give exaggerated reports of threats on the computer.
There are many misleading applications showing face on the internet that can pose a risk for many users. We have published a few blogs on these threats and have warned users not to download any software from an unknown source.
Systems Affected: Windows 2000, Windows 95, Windows 98, Windows Me, Windows NT, Windows Server 2003, Windows Vista, Windows XP
This misleading application must be manually downloaded and installed. The program reports false or exaggerated system security threats on the computer.
The user is then prompted to pay for a full license of the application in order to remove the threats. Almost all of these misleading applications have the same behavior.

Hi Frank,
The worst of this is that they are now being peddled on ClickBank to give them some sort of credibility.
I dread to think how many will actually purchase this garbage. I downloaded and ran it and not surprisingly, it found over 700 ‘threats’ on what I know to be a clean machine.
Fortunately I run such things sandboxed so removal is much easier :)
It’s their way to convince the masses that they’re reputable, what a scam!
