Are you over wired? If you look behind or beneath your computer or home entertainment area, it may look like cords of spaghetti. Don’t worry, there are many of us in the same boat and there’s an easy and cheap way to improve your cable management.
What if something goes wrong and you need to identify the cord to the equipment in question. Could you pinpoint the cord just by looking? You could if you had a labeling system for each cord, cable and or wire. I know that some people use cable harnesses to keep wires and cables together, but that still doesn’t help when you have to locate a bad cord, cable or wire.
Dotz Cord Organizers are the next best thing in cable management. Dotz help keep your wires and cables tidy and identifiable. They come in many different colors and they offer cord straps with labels and cord identifiers.
Dotz are cool and very affordable. Here’s what you get for $7.99 when you purchase the Cord Straps with Labels:
INCLUDED:
- 8 reusable colored cord straps
- 24 ready-to-go punch out icons
- 12 do-it-yourself punch out icons

Seriously, thanks for this. I’ve been meaning to do something about those jungle vines for a long time.
John,
You are not alone, I just went through a little house cleaning.
Believe it or not i’m not complaining about the cables, I used some duct tape ..and everything is almost tidy :)
Mia,
Is there anything that duct tape can’t do? LOL.
WiFi and Bluetooth seem to have substantially reduced spaghetti cable management; the issue is thus much less relevant for most than it once was even just 5-10 years ago.
Jack,
I agree, wireless has minimized messy cabling, but many of my friends still have issues when it comes to cable management.
The cables beside my desktop computer are very difficult to arrange. It’s not the first time when I try to make the cables fixed. With these cord organizers I think the situation will be improved. I am planning to buy few and to block the cables in a fixed location.
I’m currently using zip ties to organize my wires behind my desk. These really are just cool looking zip ties with labels.
Tong,
I agree, they’re really cool and effective.
