An expression meaning to have things organized or lined up.
I am very passionate about helping people, but I find myself overwhelmed at times, but I still carry the torch each day. I write 2 to 3 blogs per day on average, and work in a start up company 9 to 10 hours per day. I try to stay organized with my daily activities and most importantly my blog site.
For many bloggers it’s very important to stay organized.
Some Tips to follow:
Since successful blogs are updated frequently, posts get buried quickly and can be hard for readers to find. Older posts are usually archived by month, but you can help your readers find older posts by creating useful categories to file them in.
Most blogging software programs give bloggers the ability to organize their blog posts into categories.
As you create your blog categories, keep search engine optimization in mind. Search engines typically find your blog’s based on keywords used on each page. Using some of your blog’s most popular keywords in your category titles can help boost your search engine results. Just be careful not to overuse keywords on your blog or in your categories because Google and other search engines might consider that overuse to be keyword stuffing, which is a form of spam.
Don’t over do it:
Having to many categories can be hard for your visitors to navigate. If you write about technology don’t be too granular with categories. If you have Software as a category there’s no need to add Programs, Coding, Application, etc. Software as a category can cover all of those.
Good advice. Actually organizing my categories is something that’s been overdue for ages now. Got to act on it.
Glad you walked away with some tips on how to keep your ducks in a row.
