The site is unsecured as indicated by the lock in the lower right of your browser. The site transmits personal data that is not encrypted and can be seen by those lurking to steal your personal information.

The Fair Credit Reporting Act guarantees you access to your credit report for free from each of the three nationwide credit reporting companies – Experian, Equifax, and TransUnion – every 12 months.
You should never have to pay for your credit report according to the FTC (Federal Trade Commission). There are many free credit report sites that claim to offer you a free credit report, but try to scam you into buying other products or services. There are sites claiming to give you a “free” report and then bill you for services you have to cancel.
Never ever trust any credit reporting site other than AnnualCreditReport.com.
