The concept and idea of Entrecard is one that took a lot of intelligence, planning and energy. Entrecard is not only for the beginner blogger, but also for veteran bloggers.

Entrecard’s greatest value is the forums. You can post marketing and promotional topics and pay members with Entrecard credits to Comment, Stumble, Digg, Reddit, and sell Entrecard credits.

The downfall is no fault of Entrecard and its owners, but from members who probably need to read an e-book about how to leverage Entrecard to gain popularity and build a fan base.

Some Facts:

  1. SezWho seems to fall short of expectation as its hard enough to get
members to post comments for Entrecard credits.
  2. 17 members active daily on the Marketing forum out of 15K members.
  3. 13 members on average are active on the Stumble Threads.
  4. 12,406 total posts in the Entrecard Forums out of 15K members = less
    than one post per member.

Response from a question to Graham:

Question: If Google wants to buy Entrecard will you sell it?

Graham: Will not sell. My vision for Entrecard is so massive that it will take perhaps my entire professional life to achieve what I have set out to achieve with Entrecard.

I commend his dedication and leadership, but in this world everything has a price and Entrecard is not yet in the same level as a Digg, StumbleUpon or Reddit. If something takes an entire life, what makes you think that some major cash cow couldn’t deploy something like Entrecard in very little time?

Conclusion:

I have met and made many new friends and discovered many quality blogs that I visit daily, but outside of the Entrecard forums the value falls off. I appreciate everyone that has participated in the forums and in some of the threads we have created around social networking and commenting.

Come on Entrecard Community let’s all do our part in leveraging the good that Entrecard has to offer!
