is it Back to School season already? I haven’t enjoyed my summer yet!! :D
Hart,
We still have 1 1/2 months left until school starts. :)
After the launch of my next product. I am sure I will be looking for a laptop. Under $500 I will be able to buy my girlfriend and I both laptops. Just got to find one in pink. I don’t know why but she wants one in pink.
Deneil,
This is a great deal and the performance doesn’t fall short.
Yeah, I told my girlfriend about it. She doesn’t care if its pink. We both just need laptops to get more work done with our websites. Well their mine and she wants to help so I think its best to be a team.
Deneil,
CNet.com also gave rave reviews and I believe rated it 4 out of 5 stars.
I just got myself a little netbook for travel and I love it. Only 3 pounds. Not great for your only computer but make’s a great extra, especially if you do travel a lot. I got the new Toshiba.
I have a lenovo netbook and it is a great little computer. It doesn’t fullfill all my needs, but it does take care of 95% of what I need while on the go.
I have a Dell mini 9 running Ubuntu, and I’m crazy about it. My husband just upgraded its hard drive and memory for under $100. It does everything I need, except play World of Warcraft!
For a student with a desktop or a full-size laptop back in the dorm, a 2 pound netbook would be a great machine to take to class for notes, email, surfing, etc. Mine gets about 4 hours on a battery charge, so that’s not bad either.
Asus makes a little netbook too that looks nice. I’ve heard good things about their laptops.
I have a desktop running Ubuntu as a test bed and I love it!
Thanks for the advise. Our company is currently looking to invest in some new laptops. We figured we would go as inexpensive as possible, because we go through laptops at a pretty high rate. (our laptops ride in our trucks, travel on site with us on jobs etc…)Does this laptop make sense for a business? We would use it for quickbooks, office etc…Thanks
This laptop is a steal and you will not be disappointed.
